In the world of everyday life sometimes we look up in the eternal search for something more. That longing or request, an answer that we get when we see more of what is there. Like a mirage, prominently illuminated by the color of our dreams and hopes, but ultimately, it is us who give it context and meaning.

The works are illusions of depth and penetrating atmospheres. Creating familiarity and freely making connections with the landscape. The strokes of paint, representing pure energy, we are quite literally on a path from heaven to earth, or alternatively they become entangled in their path reaching a visual limbo.
